Encapsulated under the clear acrylic face of this Fenway
artifact is a section of heavy duty
vinyl canvas that was
once the outer 'skin' of one of the outfield wall pad that
served
in right field near "The Pesky Pole"
in Fenway Park, the home of the 'Sawx!
This wall pad was retired and
authenticated by
Major League Baseball in 2010. Being
wall pads
serve
for many,many years before being
retired/replaced, its a given that it was in place
when Boston
won the World Series in 2007
.... and in all likelihood .... was also present when
they FINALLY broke the Curse
in 2004, too!!
The wall pad 'skin' used to create this unique piece of
Beantown Sports history was authenticated by Major
League Baseball & carries MLB Authenticated Serial
Number FJ-255543 on it.

Other then being wiped down with a damp cloth to remove
any surface dirt, this wall pad segment is exactly as it was
the day it was retired from Fenway Park.
